…A Long Time Coming. and the Phenomenal Hairstylists who were Brilliant. How soon they (Actors) forget.
Yep, and that movie is pure crap with one of the worst performances ever in the history of film.
Crap is in the eye of the beholder.
Can you post Lucille Ball's appearances at the 1952 and 1954 ceremonies?
Bill was a longtime professor at USC. A real gentle man who could break his spectacular art down to simple terms. There will never be another like him.
Tony Randall gives one of the Top Five Worst Performances in the history of film in this dreadful movie. The make-up was amazing, but the movie is pure crap.
I couldn't listen to Roz all day…or night.
I could listen to Roz all day… Marvelous diction!
I met Bill Tuttle when he came to Sydney, Australia in the early 1970s. He gave a lecture near where I worked. I was very pleased to meet him in person as I was in my early 20's and had seen "Lao" when it came out about 1964. It was my favourite film and still is. I even have the photo that features Tony Randall and Lao's faces around him, given to me decades(!) ago by a theatre owner. After 49 years I finally was able to get the fine soundtrack album. Tony Randall should have won an award too.
