I'm going to adapt the Proline's Rat rod to my new Trophy Rat 1/10 chassis . The geometric differences (length, width and wheel base) are relatively minors. Do you view my goal possible or a little crazy. I love all the old models. I've the Proline's Power Wagon 1946. It's my favorite RC car (among several Tamiya and Axial models that I have)
sure wish it had trailing arms and a live axle like a trophy truck would really have…
Yeah, that’s cool! 👍😃👍
Okay, add some Pro-Line Racing Carpet Tires and cut the Rug. I really want to see this Rat on a Carpet Track!!! 😈
So what platform is this based on? SC10.2FT? Or SC5M running a rear motor?
2S or 3S???
No solid axle in the back wtf?
Not the fastest in town but looks quite fun to drive.
Really like the body but take that ugly sticker off it , ruins the whole concept. Motor in the back design is really intuitive and different I like it.
I could not tell, did the left rear taillight ever get fixed?
excellent picture 0:49, great look nice run.big thumbs up!
I’ve always been hesitant about AE rtrs. Love their kits. But this is something I might seriously would like to my hands on.
Light fell out lol the chassis is the same as the b4.2 I have one I think it’s the same nice video and sweet truck I really like the body on it
Damn!!!! I have always loved that truck and got to see it in person last year at King of the Hammers. I'm gonna have to pick this thing up for sure!!!
one rad lookin rat
You stay classy San Diego… :Ron Burgundy
Since Sc5m based, its all Metric? Or still SAE hardware?
The looks of this are just insane. Team associated did a great job with the design
Idk where to start here. I have a B5M, SC5M, and a B6D. I tend to stand behind Associated……but grabbing a SC5M, throw on a B5 gearbox, add a plastic chassis……and this is evolving? VERY disappointed. On a side note….body looks killer.
That is so cool looking. That will be a badass basher, i will have to get that bodie when it comes out for sale. That is one mean looking truck
Bad ass…could use a little suspension tuning and shoegoo for that light though 😂😂😂
That thing looks badass.
Tail light already fell out??
That's a cool looking rat rod looks like it would be a fun basher for sure
I usually have no interest in the basher style vehicles, but this is pretty cool. The Northrup guys are good people too, so well done by all involved.
