after the natural springs within the city limits and bound by the legendary Chattahoochee
River, Sandy Springs, Georgia, just 20 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. Take in the beauty
and entertainment of this bustling city then travel up to the peaceful nature of the nearby
mountains. Hello, I’m Serena and I’m going to show
you some of the many exciting places to visit, here in Sandy Springs.
One of the many parks in Sandy Springs, is the 30 scenic acres of Morgan Falls Overlook
Park where you can catch the beautiful sunsets after spending the day picnicking, kayaking
the Chattahoochee or hiking along the nature trail. A fireplace, BBQs, porch swings and
a fantastic children’s playground are also available – definitely worth a visit for
the whole family. Knowing the best places to eat is an important
part of any holiday and Ray’s On The River is a perfect choice.
Situated along the Chattahoochee River, you can take in the serene views whilst enjoying

Ray’s offers live entertainment and has received a wine list Award of Excellence.
Sandy Springs specialises in many locally produced artisan foods such as SusanSnaps,
the ultimate and unique, Gingersnap cookie store in the heart of Sandy Springs. Next
door is another must-taste, the CalyRoad Creamery with the finest, handcrafted, artisan cheeses
made from fresh farm ingredients. Their cheeses can also be found at local farmers markets
and restaurants. You won’t be at a loose end for evening
entertainment either with The Punchline Comedy Club, the longest running club in Atlanta
where some of comedy’s all-time legends have appeared like Eddie Murphy and Jay Leno.
Just seconds away, another great place to check out is Café 290, one of the best known
and most respected venues for Jazz, which has been a location for many movies and TV
shows due to its authentic atmosphere. Also close by is Steve’s Live Music venue featuring
