Protection Review 2019 – Conference, Dinner and Awards Video Highlights

The 2019 Protection Review Conference, Dinner and Awards was
probably the best yet. That’s certainly what your
feedback suggested. During the day, we heard from excellent speakers and took
part in robust debate and then in the evening we enjoyed an excellent meal wine
and company and found out who won the awards. Have a look at
these video highlights. As always the event took place at
the iconic Landmark Hotel in London. Protection Review CEO, Kevin Carr opened up the conference by
presenting the findings of the research we conducted on mental health,
especially for the conference. Our keynote speaker Helen Undy from the
Money and Mental Health Policy Institute set the scene for the
first session of the day, which was all about mental
health and underwriting. This hard hitting and quite emotional
session was chaired by Katherine Knowles and Karin Lloyd The second session chaired
by Roger Edwards looked at
the hot topics facing the industry, including a debate about whether it’s
time for the industry to consider a generic advertising campaign using
digital marketing technology. After lunch, the final session of
the day chaired by another guest, Roy McLaughlin looked at how individual
protection and group protection companies could collaborate
to grow the market. Good evening. Good evening.
Welcome to the Protection Review. Once the conference was over, everyone went to freshen up
before the dinner and awards. First stop was the champagne
reception in association with Metlife Our pre-dinner speaker
was Vincent Franklin, a well known actor and
co-founder of Quiet Room. Then everyone enjoyed a fabulous
dinner, wine and the award ceremony. If you would like to work with us next
year and gets involved in the Protection Review Conference, Dinner and
